Our Work

Perhaps the most significant, overarching theme of our work in I-2 is to differentiate Man from Machine. The work, in this sense is quite broad, but increasingly necessary as we inch closer to the advent of Superintelligence. Our work spans the computational, cognitive, and ethical aspects of our claims to knowledge compared with a Machine's claims to knowledge. Within our course units we construct and investigate the architectures of both sides of these investigations. Some academicians in the field claim that the metaphor of, Mind as Machine, is accurate, while others disagree vehemently. The various arguments and positions in this vital debate is at the heart of the next phase in our Information Revolution.
